I am a 30 year old SAHM to 3 wonderful and crazy kids!I have been married to my best friend,Corey, for 10 years. We recently started homeschooling all 3 kiddos! I have a passion for photography and traveling. We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us!
So Alicia started this a while back but my scanner never worked. But I recently got a new printer and I am so excited to join in. I know you have some great pictures from the pre-digital days that you wanna share. So head on over toMore Than Words and link up!
This past Saturday we had our October SS social. We roasted hot dogs, made smores, went on hayrides and had a good ole time! I bet there had to be 100 people there including all the kids! Thanks to the West's for having all of us over. It's nice being out in the woods where the kids can run free, and you don't have to worry about them.
On Saturday we got to visit with some of our oldest friends. We were celebrating their daughter turning one! R is such a cutie pie and so sweet! I love first birthday parties.
Zoe wanted to be the baby!
Happy Birthday R!!!
This is one of Corey's best friends!!! They moved to Charleston so we don't get to see them that much. Poor Corey was working on this day ,and he didn't even get to see them:(
Well since we were all ready at the zoo might as well stay for Boo in the Zoo! We left the zoo to eat dinner at Rush's. People have told me they{Rush's} have good food, but oh my that was the best chili cheeseburger I have had in a long time! Then we headed back to the zoo for some more fun!
I almost wanna cry as I write this, but Kain did NOT want to dress up this year!!!
What???
He said he was too old.
What???
Yes, that's what I said too! So I managed to convince him to wear his football jersey...aka.. "football player".But don't tell him he dressed up..lol! The thinks he just wore a shirt:)
One of my friends invited us to the zoo on Friday since school was out. The zoo is one of our favorite places to go! We hadn't been all summer because it is just to hot. So the kids were really looking forward to it. Well remember last week it was so cold Noah was drinking hot chocolate? Well it was rather warm at the zoo. We were actually sweating!
There was also another reason we visited the zoo ,but you will have to wait till tomorrow for that one:)
There is nothing I like more than free family fun,so if it's free we will be there:) First North has an awesome fall festival every year and the kids love it!

This is Noah when he was about 7 months old. This is what he did{crying}for 22 hours out the day for one WHOLE year! Yep, it wasn't colic either just over stimulated.Oh boy, I'm glad we don't have to do that again:)
Last Saturday we were suppose to have our annual Fall Festival at church. The weather man guessed said 80 percent chance of rain,so it was postponed until the 17th.Of course it didn't rain at all last Saturday but it did this Saturday. Some how we also skipped fall and went straight into winter! It was C-O-L-D yesterday! But the kids still had a great time while the parents froze to death! Of course we are not even prepared for cold weather. I went without a jacket and the kids only had thin ones on. This is the South we do not get cold in October! It was in the 40's I'm sure, but we are gonna hit mid 70's again this week.
Noah with some much needed hot chocolate
So now that my eldest is a "pre-teen" I thought I would give him his space yesterday. That meant mom didn't follow him around all day with the camera in his face. So I only got this 1 picture of him,but at least got one!
Last night Zoe and I had a girls night out. We went to Evangel Cathedral and saw Casting Crowns with Matt Redman!! Zoe was super excited about seeing them since she sings their songs all the time. I let her pick where she wanted to eat and of course she picked Zaxby's. Then we headed on over to get in line, and that was the part she did not like. She didn't understand why you had to wait in line! After we finally got in and found a really good seat she was happy. She asked "Is it gonna be real people?" I wish I would have got a picture of her face when they came on stage! She was just amazed..lol. It was an awesome time,we sang, she danced and we worshiped the Lord together!
Zoe fell asleep about 10pm and slept through the rest of the concert. She must be a hard sleeper because it was LOUD!!!

The other day we had a rainy chilly day,and didn't even have to leave the house. What was even better is that we stayed in our warm pajamas all day long. Everyday they are learning so much. I know they were learning at their other school, but I never got to see what they were learning. As they are learning I am remembering the little things that I had forgotten too. So far we are all really enjoying being at home . Oh we do have our moments, but we wouldn't change it for anything.
Noah painted a color wheel.
Zoe read her first book all by herself.
Kain had to make a model of an Art Gallery. It had to show a sculpture, a painting from the Renaissance period, and one from the Medieval period.
We wanted to have a fun date night so we decided to go to a local corn maze. It was the women against the men.
You were suppose to answer trivia questions, and depending on your answer you would either go right or left. Now I don't know about your husband, but mine has gotten us lost{oh excuse me, it's called an adventure}} before. So I was wasn't too worried about his {their} sense of direction.
It was a hard maze, and long too. Even though the rules clearly said "no running" we ran a good part of the way. Their was no way we were gonna let the guys win! We would never hear the end of it if they did.
Well we came out, and we didn't see them!! Yippee we won!!! Wait, is that them walking from behind the building? Yep it sure was! I still believe something sneaky went on because they hadn't even broke a sweat and they were eating a snack! But either way we had fun even if we let them win;)
This past Friday we went to Niven's Farm with some of our great friends. We picked pumpkins, looked at farm animals and made it through a corn maze. All of the kids had a great time. I even was able to give Kain a little lesson on being a gentleman. His friend Karson picked a big pumpkin and was struggling to hold it. Plus it was dirty and you know girls they don't like dirt. So I encouraged him to go carry it for her:) It turned out to be a great fall Friday!

This was at Corey's youngest brother Timmy's wedding.I was looking and Kain was missing his 2 front teeth and now Zoe is missing hers:( Time sure flies by.
Saturday was the Boiling Springs Fall Festival and since it is within walking distance from our house we took the kids.We ate some good carnival food and watched the talent show. But the thing they wanted to do the most was ride some rides. The weather was beautiful and the breeze felt really good.Fall is one of my times of the year. Now I am just waiting on the leaves to start changing.
Today is my nieces 8Th birthday!!! They are growing up so fast!
Most of you know that we felt like the Lord was calling us to home school. We (mostly I because Corey said he knew I could do it) finally decided to put all our trust in the Lord and pull the kids out. So far it's going great, now it has only been 4 days..lol.Noah got all of his materials on Wednesday and was so excited to open them up.The other two got their stuff on Friday. Now we are trying to make room for all of you new school stuff. During our art lesson they were painting self portraits and they all said "Homeschooling rocks!"I'm sure we are all going to have bad days but we know that this is the right choice for our family right now.
{ Never know what's worse. Kain's red eyes or the blacked out eyes when I fix the red eyes.}

This is a picture of Corey and I while we were dating! It seems like so long ago!
One Saturday in September when all the sickness was going on we had our SS social. I hadn't planned on going because Noah was sick. But Corey said he would stay home with him and for us to go. It was an ice cream social at Marble Slab Creamery with kids providing the entertainment on the patio.Mrs Tracy had brought a karaoke machine and Zoe didn't shy away from it. Now Kain on the other hand thought his ears were going to start bleeding:) No,I don't guess it sounded that bad you just needed some Tylenol afterward!
Corey and I love our crazy life! We love date nights and spending time with family and friends. We can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for our family!
Kain is our oldest. He's growing into a wonderful young man. He loves playing pokemon and drawing.Kain is a pleaser,he goes out of his way to make you happy. He accepted the Lord as his Savior April 27,2007. He is joy to our life.
Noah is the middle child. He can make you laugh no matter what is going on. He loves learning new things and he catches on fast. He has beautiful brown eyes that I love looking into.He is our active kid. He can run from sunrise to sunset. He's our crazy monkey!
