We wanted to take the camper out again, but we had to stay close to home since I was shooting a wedding. We found a nice small campground that has everything the kids need a pool, mini golf, playground and a place to ride their bikes! We were able to get in a little swimming before the storms started. It ended up raining on and off all afternoon. We kept the kids occupied by playing games and coloring. Noah and Lucy just liked looking out of the windows. That boy and his dog are some else:)

Kain & Noah's Award's Day
Thursday was awards day for Kain and Noah. It was at 2 different schools and the SAME time! I do not like missing anything that involves the kids and school, but there was just no way around it. Grandma went to awards with Noah and I went with Kain. This was the first time Kain had wanted me to come inside his school! Boy was his awards long. There are over 500 5th graders so it took a while to call out names. We left near the end so we could hurry over to Noah’s school. Both boys have worked so hard this year and even with us switching schools they still did awesome!!! We are so thankful to have such great kids:) So now I have a rising 6th grader ( that is so hard to type) and a rising 4th grader. Another year has flown by!

Family Fun
Sunday afternoon we rode to the mountains and took our dogs with us. Lucy (the cocker spaniel) barks at everyone, but she did good at the park. Rosie (our new baby) just ran her little heart out. The kids played ball and we had a nice relaxing time! We are counting down the days until school is out and we can do this more often.

Kindergarten Awards
It’s hard to believe that school is almost out and that my baby is moving on up to the first grade! Kindergarten awards was on Monday and we had a special surprise! There are 187 kids in K5 and only 6 had Perfect Attendance for the WHOLE year! Guess what? Zoe was one of those 6!!! This is a HUGE accomplishment for her since we seem to be sick all the time. I thought she had been out but I was wrong. She got a few other awards for doing so good in math and reading! We are so proud of her and know she will do great in first grade!

Dance Recital
This past Saturday Zoe had her first dance recital. She looked so beautiful and I was such a proud mama! They danced to a song from Narnia and it was amazing ( as amazing as 6 year olds can get)! They danced to 2 other songs but Narnia was my favorite!
This is Zoe and her awesome teacher, Ms.Mary Beth!

Beep Ball
Have you ever heard of Beep Ball?
Well I hadn’t until the kids brought home a letter from school. It is baseball for the blind and visually impaired! The school was having an event to help raise money for the local league. It was a game between a few of the teachers and the regular beep ball players. The teachers had to wear goggles that blocked their vision. It was so fun watching the game! Those players really could hit that ball! You can go here to find out more about this wonderful game!

Field Day
Zoe and Noah had field day this past week. It use to be all day,but now it’s only about 2 hours. They did the normal field day games…50 yard dash, 3 legged race, relay race. I really enjoyed spending the day with each of them. We all had a great time together!
