Spring Break Take 2

   We normally get season passes to Carowinds but wanted to try something different this year. We have only been to Dollywood once and Zoe was a baby so we were all excited to go. I actually didn't tell the kids and told them we were going hiking. None of them were happy until we pulled up at Dollywood. It was the Festival of Nations so we got to see shows and visit booths from different countries. They even managed to get me on the Wild Eagle which is a Huge rollercoaster! 

A Weekend Away

Corey and I went for a weekend getaway to Gatlinburg,TN. We stayed at the Garden of Eden Cabins in the same cabin we stayed in 17 years ago. It isn't fancy but it is so cute! We went hiking, relaxed, watched TV and did nothing. It was what we both needed. It is always nice to getaway and spend sometime with just one another. 

Isle of Palms Take 2

Since Noah was gone to Alabama when we went on the first day trip we decided to go again. This time Kain was gone on a mission trip to NYC. Noah had just got his boot a week before and I didn't really think this though. Poor kid had to hop on one foot all the way down to the ocean. He had a great time though! 

Corey helped Noah in and out of the water. At one point Noah was actually on Corey's back. I wish I would have gotten that picture.

This was Noah's first time with the lacrosse stick back in his hands. It made my heart smile. That boy sure does love some lax! 

Isle of Palms

For the first time in a long time we didn't go on a vacation during spring break. Noah went to Alabama with his best friend so we took a couple of day trips. We met some friends at the Isle of Palms county park for a fun day at the beach. It takes about 3 hours to get there but worth it! We pack a cooler full of food and take our EZ up and set up for the day.

Thanksgiving Cruise

Yes, I am little behind,but better late than never. Right? We decided to take the kids on their first cruise during Thanksgiving break. Zoe,and Noah were very excited while Kain thought we would sink like the Titanic. We tried to tell them how big the ship was,but they didn’t believe us. When we pulled into port they screamed! It was PRICELESS!! We left out of Charleston, SC which is only a short 3 hours from our house. We were headed to the Bahamas,and Key West. It was one of the best vacations we have had. We ate too much, relaxed in the sun while the kids played, took afternoon family naps ( something that never happens at home), and made precious memories! And best of all finally a vacation where no one ended up at the hospital! Which was a good thing since we were in the middle if the ocean.

Girls Weekend

One weekend in September we ( me and 4 girlfriends) headed to Charleston for the weekend. Tracy was playing in a tennis tournament,and we were there to cheer her on! She played great,and we had a really fun weekend.

I love seeing all the carriage tours in downtown. We also went to the famous market.

We wanted to so some kind of tour,and since it was so hot we went for the ghost tour. We picked the old jailhouse tour,and it was more funny than scary.
