All good things must come to an End

Today was the last soccer game of the 2009 season. If you were there I was the one with the BIG smile on my face.Even when the rain was pouring. I am a very proud mama today! All 3 of my very talented offspring { that's the good Lord's doing cause mama doesn't have a sporty bone in her body..lol} scored goals!! Woo Hoo!!! Of course their daddy was working {praise God work has picked up} and didn't get to see the fancy footwork. It was quite a morning trying to get everyone ready. My nieces are spending the weekend with us. So I had to get 5 kids fed,dressed and out the door. Of course Grandma and Pop meet us at the field so that helped a great deal. Here a just a couple pictures from the day.

Kain kicked that ball and it went IN!!!! He is always a team player and sets the ball up for others. He is great at defending it but he has NEVER gotten a goal. Until today!!! He was in shock himself when it went in...lol.

I really have enjoyed coaching and watching the kids play. Corey has gotten more involved this year too because he has been off on Saturdays. Thanks to all the people {especially Gabe,Ryanne and Brian} that make Upward possible:)

Awana Awards

Sunday night we had Awana awards.So I just stayed at the church when we got back from our WOJ trip. I worked with the Cubbies this year and had some awesome teachers helping:) This is Zoe's last year in Cubbies.She will be moving up to the "big" kids.

Noah was moving around so mom could get a picture of him. At least he isn't too grown up to have his mommy take pictures of him.He is leaving Sparks and moving up to TNT.

Kain kept turning his head so I couldn't get his face.But I got this one while he was saying a Bible verse. I think I made him nervous. This was his last year in Awana {gulp} he is moving to pre-teen:(

So you have probably been wondering where I have been all week. I started getting sick on Monday and have felt yucky all week. I am feeling better today though. Corey is back working 5 days a week now ,praise the Lord! Noah is gone on a field trip today to the Swim Center. Kain is enjoying the end of year 4th grade festivities. Next week we are going to be so busy. I will be very happy when school is finally out. So do you have any plans for the Memorial Day weekend?

Women of Joy~2009

Wow,what a weekend! It was truly a blessing seeing over 5,000 women praising our Glorious God! This was my first women's conference and I can't wait until the next one {not sure our husbands agree with that..lol}. We danced,clapped,sang,laughed and cried. We came away putting on our "crowns" and ready to work on being the women that God wants us to be. There is so many things and stories I could write about { Rhonda jumping on the bed yelling grab your things it's a fire! When it turned out to be a door bell...lol} but I will just show the pictures:)

Girls weekend Out

Women of Joy Conference This weekend I am going with 4 of my very close friends to the Women of Joy conference. We are leaving the husbands at home in charge of the kids and going to focus on Him. I am so excited to have this time of great fellowship,late night talks and praising our Lord. I am looking forward to singing along when Casting Crowns performs and listening to Kirk Cameron { from Fireproof}. So I will be leaving my handy dandy laptop at home so I can focus on other things. I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will have a great post on Monday for you:)

This is some of Noah's art work he brought home from school. The first picture is me,his daddy and himself. Well I wish I had that tan..lol. But sad to say my legs are white as snow.Too bad I can't just use a crayon to "color" my legs. We all look a little scary too. Don't lie do we really look like that?
