True Story Tuesday

Last night at practice one of the other coaches was observing Corey’s team while they were playing. The coach turned to their team and said “ You need to play like that little Hispanic boy on Mr. Corey’s team.He has a lot of potential and needs to be playing in the other league.” Corey asked the coach who she was talking about and she said “Noah!” Corey busted out laughing and said “ He’s not Hispanic,he is my son.” The coach said ‘ Are you sure?”

Spring Soccer 4

We were all excited that Corey was able to make it to the soccer games this week. The boys were especially excited since he is one of their coaches. Both teams played so good today. Corey asked me “ Do they play like that every week?” Yes they do! They play their little hearts out and keep going no matter how hot they get. You can see how red their faces get. Zoe got a few goals today and Noah was able to score 1. Kain is awesome at defense and keeping the pressure on the other team. It’s hard to believe we only have 2 more games left!

Spring Soccer 3

This week my team got to run through the banner. They were excited about getting to do that. Zoe and her team mates played a great game.Even though we don’t keep score, I am pretty sure we won;)

Kain’s team played a tough team this week. The score ended up being 0-0 and both teams played very hard.There was a lot of rough playing going on,but our boys didn’t let it get them down. Noah didn’t play this week because he was gone on a retreat.

Spring Soccer 1

Saturday was our very first soccer game of the season. I am coaching Zoe’s team and Corey is coaching the boys. This is the first year that the boys have been on the same team!! That makes one happy mama since we only have 2 games instead of 3! Unfortunately Corey had to work and wasn't able to be there. He would have been so proud of all of them. The whole team worked together and each player got a goal!

My team didn’t play till 11 and by then they were hot. Which meant they really didn’t want to play..lol. We played a tough team but I am still proud of all my players!
