Last night at practice one of the other coaches was observing Corey’s team while they were playing. The coach turned to their team and said “ You need to play like that little Hispanic boy on Mr. Corey’s team.He has a lot of potential and needs to be playing in the other league.” Corey asked the coach who she was talking about and she said “Noah!” Corey busted out laughing and said “ He’s not Hispanic,he is my son.” The coach said ‘ Are you sure?”

When we first moved to Oklahoma my step kids were both enrolled in Indian Education. Took me several years to realize that this was not something offered to all students ... only the Native American ones. My kids were Mexican American not Indian. Oh well ... they learned some cool stuff!
