This past Sunday our (Corey and I) SS class meet at the ballpark for our monthly social. It’s always a good time when we all get together. I think there were about 119 of us including the kids. It was a double header, but we only stayed for the first game.

Saturday Happenings
Corey had to work another Saturday so I was on my own with the kiddos. We started our Saturday off with soccer. We both played at the same time so I wasn’t able to see the boys play. I was told they played AWESOME. I was so proud of Zoe’s team this week. They really stuck it out and no one wanted to quit this week:)
As soon as soccer was finished we headed to a birthday party at the Swim Center. They stayed on the diving board the whole time! While I was loading this pictures I noticed that all 3 of them are holding their noses when they jump. They get that from me:) I still hold my nose..lol.
I went shopping later after Corey got home and couldn’t find anything I really liked! Where do you like to shop?

Another First
I think we may have found the perfect way to spend a Friday night! I don’t know about you,but I have NEVER been to a drive-in. I didn’t even know they were still around. Well we found one(thanks to a friend on FB) and went to check it out Friday. We LOVED it! It is about 35 minutes from our house ,but well worth it. It was $8.00 a car load, yes I said car load. They play a double feature if you want to stay.We saw “How to Train Your Dragon” and they were playing “The Back Up Plan” too.We packed our cooler full of drinks and snacks to save a little money. The kids stayed in the back on the car while Corey and I sat in our chairs. We will be going back!

Love Butterfly
Love butterfly is the name Zoe gave her new "friend". She had to create a bug for school this week. Her daddy helped her out a little, but she did all the decorating.

Wordless Wednesday~ A boy and his bugs!
Yes, I know the title said wordless, but I just can’t help myself. Noah is obsessed with caterpillars! That is what he is holding in his hand. We went with me on a photo shoot Sunday and just had to bring them. The only time he parts with his caterpillars is when he is at school and sleeping.

Spring Soccer 1
Saturday was our very first soccer game of the season. I am coaching Zoe’s team and Corey is coaching the boys. This is the first year that the boys have been on the same team!! That makes one happy mama since we only have 2 games instead of 3! Unfortunately Corey had to work and wasn't able to be there. He would have been so proud of all of them. The whole team worked together and each player got a goal!
My team didn’t play till 11 and by then they were hot. Which meant they really didn’t want to play..lol. We played a tough team but I am still proud of all my players!

It’s Friday!!!
I am so ready for the weekend, aren’t you? We are going to have a busy weekend, but it will be fun!
There is this super cute dress that Leslie is giving away over at Peachy Keen! Zoe would look so cute in it,so don’t go trying to win it;)
I spent a good part of last night making a Word press blog for my photography. Wow, it sure is different than Blogger. If you get a chance check it out….Stacy Cotheran Photography.
Happy Friday Y’all!!

I am listening…
“Don’t tell God how big the storm is,tell the storm how big your God is!”
I found that quote on face book and it just jumped out at me. It’s like God was/is talking right to me. I have been in a funk lately. I look around and see these women that God is using to do amazing things. Why is HE not talking to me or using me to do those things? Surely I am not the only one who has ever felt like this.I realized I have not been listening until now.
A couple ( the Rogers) from our church showed me this week all about trusting in God. I’m not sure all of the details but last year they received a call from some friends. The friends were hosting a boy(S) from Ukraine for 2 weeks. I guess this is some kind of program where orphans get to come visit. Not sure but something had happened and the friends weren’t able to host the child. Since the Roger’s had adopted twice before and had a home study they were allowed to host S. Of course this was all a God thing because the Roger’s just fell in love with S. So this week they traveled to Ukraine to be reunited with him.
Well their journey so far has been all God! You can follow their journey here!
I feel like God is talking to me and I am finally listening. He wants me to be faithful to Him and put all my trust in Him. That He is bigger than the storm!
Under the Big Top
In February our friends invited us to go to the circus with them. Corey had to work ,but I took the kids.As usual it was a great show! The boys favorite part is when 7 motorcycles are in one cage going round and round..lol. Of course Zoe loves all of the animals. We were able to go down on the floor before the show started, and meet some of the people.

Zoo
After church on Sunday we went to the Riverbanks Zoo with some of our great friends. The weather has just been gorgeous lately and it was a perfect time to visit the zoo. On the way down we stopped by Rush’s for lunch. They have the BEST chili cheeseburgers! The zoo was crowded ,but with the beautiful weather we expected that. We ended up spending the whole day there.
