What's a girl to do?

Do you wanna know why Zoe says she's allergic to knots in her hair? Well try brushing this every morning. I don't know what this girl does while she sleeps. It looks like a bad 80's tease job. All kidding aside she is breaking her hair off. Every morning there is hair in her bed. So we have a appointment Tuesday with Summer. Hopefully she can do something with this head.

My Deal Today

I don't have a picture but I just had to tell about my deals today. I went to Target and they still have a lot of toys 75% off. I got Kain ( it's a secret so don't say anything) a Razor Electric Scooter. It was regular $229.00 I paid $55.00!!!! I got 2 buggies full of stuff. Yes,I am already buying for Christmas..lol. We have an extra room upstairs that I use for storage so that's where it will go. They still have a lot of good stuff. If you need a bike for a boy they have some for $25.00. They are Tony Hawks and are regular $100.00. Now if I would have paid full price my total would have been $637.89 but I paid $152.45!!!

Pink Donuts and Monster trucks

We have had a fun but busy day! Corey took Zoe out to breakfast this morning all by themselves. She was very excited about that. They went to Dunkin Donuts and of course she got a pink donut with pink milk.I wouldn't expect anything less :) Next week it's Noah's turn to go out with daddy.

Then tonight we took the kids to see Monster Jam. It was very loud and had a lot of gas fumes but besides that it was fun.

Waiting in line to get in

Ear plugs are a must

Umm... it must be OK to take one with Dad though

Flashback Friday

In 2007 Corey and I took a trip to Memphis, Tennessee. It was the first time either of us had been there. Of course we had to go see where Elvis lived. I am not kidding when I say that everyone there had gray hair but us!

Posted by PicasaThis was in Nashville. I can't remember the name of it but it was gorgeous!

Awards Day

Today was awards day at school. We are just so proud of the kids!! I am so thankful that I am able to attend their functions at school. Some of the kids were crying because their parents we not able to come. Of course my kids act embarrassed when I'm there but I know they will be happy one day that I was there.

Kain and his teacher Mrs.Hardee

Notice how he is looking away while holding the award. He knows I'm clicking away!

Yes the girl beside him is in 4th grade. Does she look 10 to you? These kids are a whole head (or 2) taller than him. But that's OK. He'll grow like a weed one day.

Noah was one of four kids chosen to read their story about President Obama

He is so happy at school.

Finally some one is looking at me.

Zoe was happy because she got to eat refreshments at every class.

Now she wasn't embarrassed by me being there. But give it a few years and she will be!

Snow Day

WOO HOO...We finally got some snow and it was enough to get a day off from school. But here in the south it doesn't take much to shut the city down! We maybe got an 1 inch were I live but that's enough to have some fun in. My kids have been up all night waiting for the school closings. I had to get up at 3AM and tell them to go to sleep. At first it said a 2 hour delay but when I got up again it said closed!!! Of course they were ready to go out at 7 this morning but I made them wait just a little bit.

BTA Party

My hubby's company always has a company party in January. It was this past Saturday at the Marriott. I knew he really wanted to go and I didn't want to disappoint him. So I took a lot of medicine and off we went. If nothing else it's a nice dinner with out the kids. This year wasn't as fun as the past ones. It could have been because I was sick but a lot of others were thinking the same thing. So Summer you didn't miss anything..lol. But it was still nice and I'm thankful that he has a company that has these parties. We stayed about 2 hours and then left. I couldn't stay any longer. We were home and in the bed by 9:30. So much for our big night out!
