I just love seeing this boy laugh! His laughs are very contagious,so if you are ever around him you better be prepared to laugh!

1. Do you know how to play a musical instrument? Haha…nope! There is not a instrument that I know how to play. I was in chorus in school so I guess that’s musical talent.
2. What is your pet peeve while driving? TURN SIGNALS!!! They wouldn’t be on the car if you were not suppose to use them. This is something I tell my sweet hubby all the time.
3.Would you rather have a housekeeper or unlimited spa services? Most definitely a housekeeper! I can never keep my house clean.
4.Is there a song that you hear that will take you back to the moment, like junior high or high school dance? I don’t remember on from a dance, but when I hear “Ice,Ice Baby” I go straight back to when I was in 6th grade. I had wanted that cassette for a few weeks, but my mom wouldn’t buy it. I was walking home from the bus one afternoon when I get in front of my house and hear that song! Yes, while I was at school my mom bought it for me!
5.What song best represents your life right now? Um, I really don’t know any names of songs. Anything by Casting Crowns.

It’s funny how we can learn so much from our kids. Complete strangers came together to work on a task and they finished it. Imagine what we could accomplish if we all worked together?

Saturday while we were at the pool Zoe said," I think today is the day that I ride my bike without my training wheels!” So we went back to the campsite and took them off. She has never tried riding without the training wheels, so I was a little worried. She hopped on that bike and took off! She looked like a pro and hasn’t stopped yet:)
Saturday was a super busy day! The campground had a few planned father/kid activities that we didn’t want to miss. We also had things we wanted to do since this was our last full day. We started the day with the kids and Corey fishing.
Then they competed in the dad*kids events. They had to try and knock ping pong balls of bottles using a water gun, see who could get a ringer playing horseshoes (there were only 2 dads that got it and Corey was one of them), and then see who could sweep up the most balloons in 10 seconds. In the end Corey placed 2nd in the Dads and Noah 2nd in the kids. They walked away with $30.00 in store credit (which the kids already used).
After the games we headed back to the river for one last time. They have spent hours building dams. The kids were able to make Corey key chains and cards during the craft time.Later that evening we went to the ice cream social and played a few games of bingo.
Since I have cooked/fixed 3 meals a day since Saturday .We decided to go out for dinner. We found a yummy BBQ place in Black Mountain and right beside it was a great putt-putt place.
Boy, am I tired from our fun filled day! I’m sad that we head home tomorrow, but we leave again in 2 weeks for another 9 day vacation!!This time Corey will be with us the WHOLE time:)
We are so blessed to have such a great dad and husband!
Happy Father’s Day to the man that is the center of our crazy family!
I guess it runs in the family:)
Happy Father’s Day,Pop!

We aren’t called the Crazy Cotheran’s for nothing!
…..it feels so good! Yes, my hubby finally made it back to us and we were very excited! My in-laws also came down for the day and the kids had a great time. Pop (Corey’s dad) played in the river and went tubing with the kids. Then Grandma went to the pool with everyone. Pop also took them fishing which I was thankful someone else besides me was taking the fish off. They stayed for dinner and since it is Father’s Day weekend I cooked. We had grilled chicken with garlic & herbs, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, baked beans and for dessert some ice cold watermelon!
The saying is true…absents does makes the heart grow fonder:)
Tuesday afternoon my best friend Melissa and her girls came to visit. Of course it would rain shortly after they arrived and wouldn’t stop till morning. I was glad they were visiting, but 5 kids and 2 dogs in a 28ft camper is a bit rough:) Thankfully when we woke up on Wednesday the sun was shining! We spent the day by the river and in the pool. We all had a great time and a few laughs. Sadly they had to leave Wednesday evening. Now I am looking forward to my hubby and the in-laws coming on Friday!!!
River rats are exactly what my kids were on Monday. They stayed in that water for about 6 hours. I sat on the bank doing a little reading and feeling the cool breeze. They skipped rocks, made mud pies, skipped more rocks, saw snakes and went tubing down the river. What? Saw snakes? Yes, they saw 3 snakes during the day in the water. The snakes never got close to them so they just kept playing. Oh they were VERY aware of the snakes location the whole time. When they were not in the water they were catching fish. Between all 3 they caught 10 fish! Guess who had to take all those fish of the hook? Yep, good ole mom! One more thing to add to my to do list:) They made lots of new friends and I made a few myself.
