Our Last Day of Spring Break

We were sad to see our vacation coming to an end ,but we still had a few things planned for the day. The kids had lunch with the Easter Bunny and got their face painted. We enjoyed a family scavenger hunt.We didn’t win but we had fun anyway. Noah went fishing with Corey one last time.I took the rest of the bunch to the beach where they dug a huge hole. We got pizza from our favorite spot, Godfather’s Pizza! After dinner we dyed our Easter eggs and played a friendly game of UNO. Despite all of our accidents we all have had a great time!

Spring Break Day 7

My hubby arrived back at the beach around 4 am and it was so nice to see him! It was another relaxing day on the beach and at the pool. Zoe started breaking out on her arms on Thursday. It wasn’t looking any better on Friday so I took her to the doctor.The said she was allergic to the sun and to try to keep her out of it! Good thing we only have 2 days left:)

We decided to try out a seafood buffet called Crabby Mike’s. They did have great food,but once again we had another accident! Noah was walking back with his ice cream and he somehow fell on the steps. He bit all the way through his lip.Luckily it was on the other side from where the dog bite was! I think I need to keep that boy in a bubble!

Spring Break Day 6

The day was beautiful and we spent most of it on the beach! They would have stayed out there all day if we let them.

Summer’s dad fried a turkey that night and it was YUMMY!

Spring Break Day 5

The kids had been begging to go to the outside pool. I tried to tell them the water would be too cold to swim,but of course they said it would be fine. It is an ordeal to get 5 kids ready to go swimming. First you have to find all of the swim suits.Then you have to gather towels and swim toys. After that I have to apply a ton of sunscreen since I have these pale red headed children…lol. By the time you get all of that finished it has been a good 30 minutes and I haven’t even gotten dressed myself! We finally made it to the pool and they were people they.Now, none of them were crazy enough to get in the water.They were just laying out and getting some sun. Of course our kids jump in and jumped out just as fast! That water was so cold it was taking their breath away! I just love how kids think mama’s don’t know anything:) We then had to move all of our things to the indoor pool since the water was probably 50 degrees!

Later that evening we went to Margaritaville for dinner. The kids did great considering the wait was a hour!
