He got me!

There has not been one time in 12 years that Corey has been able to truly surprise me. Most of the time it’s my fault because I really don’t like surprises. I like knowing what's going on and being in control of it. Yeah, one of my many issues. Well Corey finally got me yesterday! We were talking on the phone while he was driving home from work when he said he would call me back. When he called back he said they needed him back at work so he would see me after church. This happens a lot at his work so I didn’t think anything about it. While I was at church I was telling my friends “I hope Corey has made it home from work because he is tired.” They were like “Poor Corey.” Fast forward to me coming in the door from church. I start walking over to the living room and Corey tells me “Since you surprised me with the camera for my birthday. I am going to give you your Mother’s Day gift early.” I still had no idea until I looked on the arm of the couch and this is what I found……

A RED MINIATURE DACHSHUND!!!!!! I had a weenie dog for 10 years named Frannie and loved her so much! I had been talking about wanting another one,but never thought I would really get her. Come to find out a few people were in on this. Remember the friends from church that said “poor Corey”? Well they had known for 4 days and Jamie even rode with Corey to pick her up! Zoe insisted on naming her so her name is Rosie Frannie Cotheran! She is so tiny and she blends into the couch:) I just want to say thanks to everyone that helped Corey pull this off and to my wonderful hubby that is listening even when I think he's not:)

Isn't she absolutely precious! I saw her on facebook the other day.

I'm like you-horrible about surprises. I don't think my husband even tries anymore. I start out thinking I want to be surprised but as soon as it starts I pick and pick to find out the details. I need to give up that control too I guess.
