Not me! Monday

Oh yes it's back!! MckMama is home with Stellan and she has started back this great blog carnival. If you have always wanted to join ,today would be a great day to start. So just head over to MckMama's blog to join in on the fun.

No matter what anyone says I have not {or will not} done any of the following.

1. I did not take a 2 hour nap after Sunday lunch yesterday. When I got up my house was not completely clean because my husband had not cleaned it with no prompting.

2. I am not going to the Women of Joy conference in Charleston,SC for a whole weekend with some of my best friends! Nope, I am not praying that my children get to church Sunday fully clothed and Zoe's hair some what presentable. I am not worried at all about my hubby getting to soccer on time and coaching my team.

3. I have not been trying to diagnosis Noah's sickness just to avoid the doctors office. I have not came to the conclusion that I need to leave that to the real doctors. I am not hoping that this mystery fever goes away before morning.

Not Me! Monday

I am pretty sure MckMama will NOT be doing a post today. She is need of our PRAYERS !! Stellan is back in the hospital with the same thing he almost died from while in her womb. So please head over to her page and send her your prayers. Just click on the post title to get there!


I did not spend the WHOLE week with these crazy ladies.

I did not neglect my husband,kids and housework to do this all week.

We did not make over $12,000.00 in just 4 days! It was not worth all the time and hard work:)

We did not all go out Saturday to a wonderful dinner.Then head to Brusters to get ice-cream. We did not end up sitting there for an hour laughing like teenagers.

I do not have just 3 days to clean, do laundry and pack. Because we are not leaving in 3 days for the happiest place on earth with 2 of the above crazy ladies:)

Not me Monday!

I know the weekend has flew by and it's Monday again. But might as well get a good laugh out of it. Check out MckMama's blog carnival and see what every one else had not been doing.


1. I am not so out of shape that when I worked out I ended up throwing up. Nah, I am in great psychical shape...yeah right!

2. I did not keeping bidding on the Panthers tickets even after we had passed our limit. A preteen was not bidding against me. I could have easily let the young man win.Because I am not that competitive;)

3. My laundry is not piled up in the basement. I did not ask my husband to put it all downstairs so I didn't have to look at it.

4. I did not go out and buy a laptop just so I can blog at Disney.Then I did not find out that Disney charges for their Internet service. Surely after all the money I spent they could give you free Internet.I am not going to pay the $10.00 per day fee just so I can blog;)

Not Me! Monday

I did not write this last Sunday but decided not to post it last Monday because I want to post about the snow. Then I did not decide to save it just in case.I didn't get around to writing one this week.


I did not have to go to the doctors office 4 times last week. My kids have not been very sick. When we went back on Thursday the nurse did not stop in in the hall and say"your back again?"
Nope, my kids are always healthy and never miss 8 days of school due to sickness.

I did not leave home early Tuesday night before bible study just to get some peace and quite.I did not verbally say that before I left. My daughter did not then tell me a few days later she would just like some peace and quite too.

I was not in the checkout line with a buggy full at Wal-mart when the card reader said CARD DECLINED! I did not about lose it right there in the store. I did not call my hubby fuming about it. I did not make him go up to the bank on his lunch to see what the problem was. The bank did not say the WHOLE pin network at the bank would be down for 2 hours. Thus causing the declined card causing me to have to psychically go in to the bank to withdraw money.Go back to Wal-Mart get everything re rung again just so the lady would know that I did have the money to pay for it. No, anyone else would have just went to another Wal-Mart or forgot about the whole trip. It's not like the lady would remember me next time and say "Oh you're the lady who's card was declined" Because I'm sure that never happens at Wal-Mart


I did not have to take a Tylenol PM just to go to sleep while my hubby was away. I am not scared of the dark and all those creepy noises. I did not say to myself "Well at least if someone breaks in I'll be knocked out" Nope ,I am a strong woman and could defend our house if I had to.


We did not get 2 days off from school at the beginning of the week due to 6 inches of snow.Then we were not able to wear flip flops by the end of the week. No there is no way that in 7 days you can have snow and 75 degree weather!


We did not have a record breaking attendance at our new facility yesterday! We did not have over 1200 people hear God's word!

Not Me! Monday

Oh yes it's the dreaded Monday! And it's time for MckMama's Not Me! Monday. So head on over there and see what everyone else has not been doing!

I did not start writing this on Wednesday so that I could play this meme on Monday.It has not been a couple of weeks since my last Not Me!

I did not bust out laughing when Zoe was trying on new shorts.She did not pop her own bottom and say "the shorts won't fit because this is too big" (referring to her bottom).

I did not wait until Tuesday morning to do all of my Beth Moore bible study homework. Then I did not get a call saying the power was out and it was canceled.. I was not upset because I was really needing some alone time.Well I guess it wouldn't be alone time since there is a room full of women. But there are no kids especially mine.

I did not wash clothes for 4 days straight because I had let them pile up. Nope, I would never let that happen. That will never happen at this house.

It wasn't me that allowed my kids to eat all of their Valentine's candy so I could post.

Not Me! Monday

Yes it's Monday and I know everyone is waiting(well at least I hope) to read my Not Me's! But my family has caught the stomach bug and it is not pretty. So I am not going to participate this week. I know everyone is so disappointed but I will be back next week!!!

Not Me! Monday

MckMama is explaining exactly how to not do it on this week's post!
So I most definitely did not do any of these things.

1. I did not underestimate my husbands ability to break out of his shy shell while doing the scavenger hunt New Year's Eve.

2. My husband did not run from one end of the outside doors at Wal-mart other. And he most certainly did not scream "The British are coming". Then he did not completely fall out(it was on the list)in front of strangers and roll 3 times. I did not almost pee in my pants when I saw the video!

3. On that same said scavenger hunt I did not sing I'm a Little Teapot in front of strangers at the local Blockbusters. I also did not do the motions with it. Nope not me!

4. I did not sit home Saturday with my husband and have a movie marathon. No I would have been cleaning the house since we didn't have any of the kids.

5. I did not wear my Winnie the pooh PJ's(just the pants) to take the kids to school this morning.

6. I am not so tired from having to get up at 6 this morning that I can not think of anymore not me's! I do not enjoy sleeping to at least 7 and did not love the winter break!

Guess what? It's Monday and you know what that means!

I'm not sure if MckMama will have the time to do a Not Me. Stellan is really sick and they had quite a scare! But you can still check out her blog...it's wonderful!


So it's time for me to list the many things that most certainly did not do this week.

1. I did not drop my camera while taking pictures of my kids baking.Then I definitely did not call my husband crying telling him I had broke my camera. I did not break my lens and it was not my Christmas present. I am very careful with my things especially my camera. I would never get so excited about taking pictures of my kids that I got careless. Nope not me!

2. I did not have to stay up to midnight Christmas eve still wrapping presents. I am never this late at getting things done (really I'm not).

3. I did not stay up late every night just to make sure I posted a new blog entry. Nope I am not addicted to my blog and I can stay off of it for more than 1 day. Not!

4. My kids did not wake up at 1:30 am Christmas morning begging to open their gifts that Santa had left. We ( hubby and I) did not give in and get out of the bed. I did not edit all the pictures that had my hubby in them because he did not look like something from Night of the Living Dead.

5. I did not let them eat Christmas candy at 1:30 in the morning. Nope, I would never let them do that.

6. I did not send my husband to a birthday party with the kids while I went on a girls night out.
I did not have an awesome time just sitting,eating and chatting!

1. I did not almost fall going up the stairs Wednesday leaving church. My pastor was not in front of me and I did not almost fall on him. Then when he asked did I fall I did not say "No ,I dropped my book". I did not ask for forgiveness as soon as I got in the car. I did not accidentally lie at church!
2. I did not turn 30 on Saturday. I did not cry just a little. I mean it's just a number it doesn't matter to me.

3. I did not have to play out the part of 4 calling birds at our SS Christmas party. Nope, I did not look like a fool.

4. I have not waited to the last minute to wrap 50 gifts. No, I am on top of things and would have already finished.

5. I am not going to enjoy my husband being home 10 days out of the next 14. I am not hoping that he will let me take a nap some of those days.

6. I am not freaking out that my son will be a "pre-teen" next week. I am way to young to have one of those.

Not ME! Monday

I truly haven't thought about Not Me all week. I have just been to busy doing stuff. But I will try to remember some things.

On the was to Firehouse Subs after church last night. Noah did not say he wanted a hooker! My husband did not about die laughing. I finally found out what he was really trying to say. He wanted a Hook and Ladder sandwich from there. Hope he doesn't say that at school or church!

My daughter did not say she wanted to go back to that ABC store. Um honey we have never been to a liquor store. Oh I know what she is taking about. We shop at a consignment store in Boiling Springs. It is inside a strip mall and there is a ABC store on the end.

I am NOT turning 30 Saturday. Nope I am very young and 30 is still a long way off! No offense to the people that are 30!

My husband and I did not have a date night Friday. Well it was our anniversary! We did not have a blast at the Volunteer Banquet held at church! Then we did not go to see the movie Four Christmas!

Yes I know this is a lousy Not Me but I'm sure next week will be better!

Not ME! Monday

This week has been a rough one. What started out as our wonderful vacation turned into a nightmare( or to me it was).

I did not get all excited when I open my email. There was not a response from MckMama herself. I did not yell and tell my hubby !

I did not almost have a nervous break down when we were stranded in New York. I mean we were suppose to come home on Sunday. Who wouldn't like an extra day on vacation?

I did not have to take my son to the hospital in New Jersey and have to wait 9 hours.

I did not feel like a hillbilly when the DR asked what the word puny means? Then I did not come home and make sure it was really a word.

I did not have the other 2 kids eat out of a vending machine all day while we were at the hospital. I would never do that.

I did not start crying in the hallway when my cell phone died and I had no idea where my husband was. I mean just because I was in this huge city with a sick child , my car had broke down and I couldn't find my husband was no reason to break down. Nope I'm stronger than that.

I did not pay $30.00 just for a taxi ride 10 minutes away. That would be just crazy. I know what profession I need to be in now.

We did not drive all night to get home because we didn't want to stay in another hotel. Even though we were very sleepy. That would have been dangerous and I would never do that.

When we finally got home I did not go straight to bed and leave my poor husband up to watch the kids. He had not drove the whole way home except for 2 hours. And he was not very tired.

I did not call my MIL and ask her to cook us dinner because I was not functioning well.

I was not ( I really was) so thankful for all the prayers and thoughts of everyone for my family!

I did not just now start doing my Christmas shopping. Nope I always start early!

This week was not very eventful but I still thought I would give it a try.

I am not going to New York to see the Macy's parade. I would be crazy to take 4 kids to the city... right? Nope there is no craziness going on here.

I have not lost my camcorder. Nope I'm a very organized person and never lose anything. I know it is some where in this house. It doesn't have legs and can't walk out by its self.

I have not slacked on doing the laundry. Just because I have to wash everything in the morning is no big deal. It's not like I have to pack or anything.

I will not be going through withdraws. I do not have to check my blog every day. I will not be thinking about it at all. It will not be the first thing I look at when I get home.

Yes I know this was a very weak Not Me . But that should be a good thing...right?

Not matter what anyone says I did not....

I have not or will not act like a silly little kid waiting to open one of her Christmas presents.

I am not driving my husband crazy talking about my gift or our Thanksgiving vacation. Nope, I have a lot of patience and never do that.

I did not forget to do laundry this week resulting in having no clean towels. I mean really who forgets that. Just because I fell over the pile of clothes in the floor(twice) is no indication .

I did not start writing my Not Me's on Wednesday. I have a great memory and wouldn't... what was I saying I forgot.

I did not start my Christmas cards and I most definitely did not start decorating my house. Nope, Christmas is not my favorite holiday!

I did not stay in my pajamas all day Thursday, even when I took the kids to school. I always get up and fully dressed each day.


I did not act a little crazy to the UPS people when they "missorted" my package(camera). Instead of it being air over nighted it would be 3 days later. I did not have a fit on the phone until they told me where it was. I did not drive to Greenville to get it. I do not LOVE it !!!!


Then that same day I did not almost get into it with the cashier at McDonald's. I did not order a plain cheeseburger then they did not mess it up. When I asked nicely( I was, I promise)to fix it. She did not tell me that I was wrong and to pay for another one. I did not pay for another one while biting my lip. I know $1.00 is very petty but the point is don't argue with the customers!

This is just a few of the things I did not do this week...

I did not send my kids to grandmas for the WHOLE weekend. I did not just stay home and do what I wanted to do for a change. Mothers require NO alone time what so ever.

I did not feel sick for a majority of the week. Nope I'm never sick.

I did not volunteer to chaperon my son's field trip(which was at the school).I did not enjoy taking photos of 200 4th graders. Nope not me...I hate taking pictures...lol.

I did not beg my husband to go ahead and give me my Christmas present in November. I did not succeed and I will not be getting it next week ;)

I am not getting the camera that I have not wanted for a long time.

I did not vote for the first time ever. I have not a registered voter since 18 and just have not voted. I did not take the kids with me to vote and they did not love it.

This week was a pretty good week. What did you not do this week?

I most definitely did not do this....

Awards Day for Kain was Wednesday.Since I am the class mom I was in charge of providing refreshments for everyone. I did not wait till the last minute and go to Krispy Kreme and get 5 dozens donuts.I did not let all those kids eat that sugar and then leave them with their poor teacher.No I did not.

I did not wish that as soon as the Awana party started Wednesday that it was over. No, I loved 45 kids running wild as they wait for candy. All kidding aside they were all so cute!!!

I did not let my kids eat candy out of their bags for breakfast. I always feed them healthy things.

I did not go out of the house with my pj's on to the grocery store to pick up 20 lbs of hamburger meat. My friend did not call and say i better hurry because it would all be gone .And when i got there I did not see a little old lady looking at the meat and most definitely didn't say excuse me then get processed to take all the packs of meat. I have manners and would have waited until the lady moved.


I did not come home from church yesterday and take some night time medicine even though it was definitely daytime. For one us moms never get sick. And number 2 that would mean that I slept 5 hours straight and left the kids with Corey all day . Nah I wouldn't do that.

I did not ask my husband to cook lunch while I was at church. And he did not have it ready when we got and it was not very yummy.

That's all I have this week folks...I really am sick.

So things that I have not done this week:

I did not lay in the bed this morning(technically Saturday morning) begging my kids to be quite for just a little longer. No I am so happy to be up at 6 am on a Saturday morning.

I did not go to see The Secret Life of Bees with my friend and leave my husband home with the kids. What kind of wife would do that? Not me.

I did not say "we'll take a bath in the morning" and then forget about it the next day.What kind of mother would forget to give her kids a bath? Not me, never!

I did not wait until Wednesday morning to get my things together for cubbies(class on Wednesday nights for preschoolers at church,for those who didn't know.). What kind of leader waits until the day of to do things? Not me!

I did not feed my kids at 9:00 Thursday night after the fall festival. Who would wait till then? Maybe someone waiting on Summer L. (just kidding). Not me!

I did not write this on Saturday while my kids are running through the house.Then saved it until Monday to post it! Not me!!!

I did not wish that I could have just one kid free night. I love my children dearly and would never want to be away from them, even for one night. I mean what kind of crazy woman wants a night alone with her husband? Not me!

I did not go to a football game at night and forget to bring a coat or wear long sleeves.Then sit there and freeze all night.While everyone keeps saying "you must be cold". And if that was me I would reply " No I'm fine" but thinking to myself "how could I forget my coat? I made the kids wear one".
