Pre-Election Day 08

For the past few weeks the kids have been learning about the presidential election. I'm not sure how much they've learned about each candidates but they know their names and can point them out on TV. They are really excited about it too.

I'm ashamed to admit it but I have been a registered voter since I was 18. And this will be the first presidential election I've voted in. I know, I know.. what was I waiting for? I don't not sure maybe I thought my vote didn't count. But I have a different view now ,thank the Lord.

Okay back to the kids. Kain is very adamant about voting for John McCain and Zoe is yelling Obama to the top of her lungs. So today they voted at school 2 of my kids voted McCain and my daughter (I think she likes saying the name)voted Obama. If you ask them why they respond "I don't know". But it's nice that they are so involved. So tomorrow I am taking them with me. Hopefully the lines won't be too long because they really wanna go "vote"!!

Karson and Andrew are really into voting this year also. They also voted at school and Karson voted for McCain and Andrew voted for Obama. Karson goes around all the time saying John McCain.
